Delete your account and data

This page explains how to delete your Erefta account, developed by Marefia, and the business data associated with it — either directly in the app or by emailing us. It also describes what is deleted, what is retained, and for how long.

Delete in the app (fastest)

You can permanently close your account from inside Erefta in a few taps:

  1. Open the Erefta app and sign in.
  2. Go to the More tab (owners) or the settings menu, then open Settings.
  3. Open Account.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Type your account email address to confirm, then confirm the deletion.

This ends your sign-in access immediately. Account closure cannot be undone.

Request deletion by email

If you can’t access the app, email us and we’ll process the deletion for you:

We verify the request against the account email and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

What is retained, and for how long

For legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution reasons, business records linked to the account — such as purchases, sales, inventory counts, exchange-rate data, uploaded item photos, and related activity history — are retained after account closure only as long as needed to operate the service, meet legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, and are then deleted or anonymized. These retained records are not re-associated with any new account opened later under the same email address. Product-analytics and diagnostic identifiers are retained according to our analytics provider’s configuration and then expire. See our Privacy Policy for full detail on retention and choices.
